Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Comes from a CNC Shop as a machinist or estimator 3
years of leadership experience in a machine shop preferred Effectively establish procedures and documentation that communicate planning, production goals, and improvement efforts.
Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine information, such as material to be used, type and sequence of operations required.
Ensure adequate usage and supply of all production materials and tooling.
Responsible for keeping the work area, machines, and machine tooling inventory clean and organized.
Monitor and schedule proper preventive maintenance initiatives on the equipment.
Communicate daily with production team, quality department, and management.
Ensure employees are tracking productivity metrics and performance.
Tracking productivity metrics and performance targets to ensure the machining department is effective.
Recommends measures to improve department methods, performance and quality.
Maintains time and production records accurately.
Interprets, executes and recommends plans, policies, procedures and schedules.
Shift- Monday through Friday 5 am to 3:
30 pm, with occasional Saturdays Full benefits available- Health, Dental, Vision, Life.
