Position Description
MSP is currently seeking candidates that are passionate about automotive manufacturing, excel academically, demonstrate leadership capabilities, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be enrolled as a full-time student from an accredited college or university in an undergraduate degree program. Candidates must also be able to present evidence of academic excellence.
Position Overview
This position serves as MSP's Quality Co-op and is responsible for the organizing, implementing, coordinating, and training of the Plex-online (ERP system)
Responsibilities
Primary:
Assist with Plex-online (ERP system) implementation
Coordinates with multiple departments (
engineering
, quality, materials, manufacturing and others) to configure the Plex database
Conducts training sessions covering specific to the proper use of the Plex system to shop floor associates
Perform product and process and audits, following up as necessary to help correct problems identified by the audit
Responsible for creating, running and updating reports on a regular basis and as request are received.
Assist on open projects and priorities in a variety of areas/departments including Materials, IT, Safety and Quality.
Secondary
Assist with documentation related to ongoing Quality projects.
Assists with overall document control during launch of new products.
Works with manufacturing to improve overall customer satisfaction.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date project status.
Inform supervisor of problem areas.
Coordinates project with other work groups through input and support.
Assists Quality department in other projects activities, as required.
Assist with inventory cycle counts and pull loop audits.
Responsible for process routings, control plans, master documents and hardware installation/placement in the plant.
Position Requirements
Required Qualifications
Enrolled in a college or university and maintaining a 3.0 GPA or above
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Excellent work ethic; proactive; demonstrates initiative in completing assignments.
Excellent customer service skills
