Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Responsibilities include:


Opening orders and acknowledging orders to customers


Creating travelers


Contacting vendors and customers as needed


Updating information on customer websites


Responding to customer emails through Web Portals


Checking Job Status on the floor\tracking jobs throughout the plant


Helping in the shipping department as needed.


Fill in for Production Control Manager as needed.


Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft office including Excel spreadsheets.  Good verbal communication skills are also necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
